Ingredients:
Chicken - 1kg
Mint Leaves - handful
Yogurt - 2 tbsp
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Ground black pepper - 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1tbsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1tsp
Fresh Coriander leaves and Salt to taste.
Method
Put the grated Coconut in a grinding jar and grind or blend into a smooth paste.
Step2
In a heating pan add ground Coconut Paste. Add Mint Leaves. Saute for 2 mins.
Step4
Add Ground Black Pepper, Red Chili Powder, Cumin Powder and Garam Masala Powder.
Step5
Add Coriander Powder and Salt to taste. At this moment, also mix the melted Ghee and Fresh Yogurt.
Mix all the Ingredients very well on low flame for few seconds.
Step 6
Add pieces of Chicken. Cover the pan and Leave to cook it for about 5 minutes on low flame.
Step7 Add Ginger-Garlic Paste and mix well.
Step8
Cover the Chicken and leave to cook it for few more minutes on low flame.
Step9
When the Chicken is almost done, then garnish the cooked Chicken with good amount of chopped Coriander Leaves. Cook for one more minute and turn the flame off.
