Crispy Prawns

 Seafood lovers will  enjoy these crispy prawns....

Ingredients

Step1
-----
For marination:
Big prawns – 10 pieces
Lime juice - 1 to 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
(Marinate the cleaned prawns with the  ingredients  and kept for 2 hours in the refrigerator.)

Step 2

For the batter Ingredients:( all purpose flour batter)
All purpose flour – ¼ cup
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Baking powder – ¼ tsp
Butter milk – ¾ cup( optional)
Egg – 1
Salt –to taste
(Combine together all the above ingredients in a bowl and keep it ready.)

Step 3
-----
For coating Ingredients:(bread crumb mixture)
Bread crumbs – 1/4 cup
Oats - 1/4 cup
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Oregano – ½ tsp
Dried basil – ¼ tsp (optional)
Salt – a pinch
 ( Combine all the above ingredients in a deep bowl.)

Cooking Method
------------
Heat oil in a deep pan, dip the marinated prawns in the all purpose flour batter and then coat it with the bread crumb mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining prawns. Deep fry these prawns in medium hot oil. Reduce the flame after a minute and till the prawns are cooked and turns golden brown. Move it to a paper towel and remove the excess oil. Serve hot with mayonnaise or sauce of your choice.
