Chicken Pakoda/ Chicken Pakora

INGREDIENTS

Chicken boneless - 1/2 kg(thin strips)
Gramflour (Kadala mavu) - 1 cup
Rice powder - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - A pinch
Onion -3 no
Greenchillies - 4 nos( finely chopped)
Ginger -garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Turmericpowder - 1 tsp
Chillypowder - 2 tsp
Garammasala - 1 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Oil - For frying
Curryleaves - 3 sprig
Lemon juice -1/4 tsp
DIRECTIONS

Step 1. For preparing chicken pakora, mix chicken strips with turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala, 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste ,lemon juice and little salt.marinate and keep 15- 20 mn.

Step 2. Mix together gram flour, rice powder, asafoetida, green chillies, curry leaves, onion, 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, salt and little water.

Step 3. Make a smooth paste. Add  the marinated chicken with it.

Step 4. Heat oil at medium heat.Deep fry chicken pieces until crispy and browned on  both sides, about 6 – 7 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
Step 5. Chicken pakoda is ready.Serve these delicious chicken pakoras /pakodas with ketchup or green chutney.
