  Dal  rasam

Sadhya special rasam
Ingredients:
Toor dal : 1/4 cup (optional)
Tamarind : lemon sized
Tomato : 2
Chilly pdr : 1/4 tsp
Pepper pdr : 1 tsp
Hing (Asafoetida) a pinch
Cumin pdr : 1/2 tsp
Rasam pdr : 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Jaggery:  1/2 inch piece
Turmeric pdr:  1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Dry chilly 3
Water
Oil
Method :
Pressure cook toor dal in a cup of water.Mash well  and then add required amount of water. Add the tamarind extract into this. Then add tomato, chilly pdr, pepper pdr, hing, cumin, rasam pdr, curry leaves and turmeric  and boil it well. Let this boil till the tamarind's raw smell goes. Remove from heat put the coriander leaves,jaggery piece and close lid. Season it with mustard seeds, curry leaves and dry chilly. Serve with rice .OR drink it in a glass and remember to eat all the spices that hit ur taste buds including the coriander leaves.
