Ingredients:
Beef – ½ kg
Onion-2 nos
Tomato-1
Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
Green chilly-2
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Chilly powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-2tsp
Fennel seed - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
Pepper powder- ½ tsp
Salt-to taste
Oil-1tbsp
For seasoning:
Oil-1tbsp
Dry red chilly- 6 nos
Curry leaves-3 springs
Garam masala- ½ tsp
Pepper powder- ½ tsp
Preparation:
Make a fine paste of coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, pepper powder, fennel seed in a grinder.
Marinate the chopped and drained beef pieces with this paste along with some salt.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and sauté until transparent.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilly, sauté for a minute.
Add tomato pieces and sauté until mashed well.
Add marinated beef pieces along with little water .
Cook on high flame for 1 whistle and after that, cook on low flame for another 20 minutes or until done.
Allow the pressure to release itself .
Dry roast the red chillies for a minute and crush it.
Heat oil in a pan, when the oil is hot make the flame to low.
Add crushed dry red chilly, garam masala, pepper powder and curry leaves.
Add the cooked beef in to it and cook on high flame until all the water content in it gets absorbed.
Stir for another 10-15 minutes until thickens and the beef gets a nice dark color.
Serve hot with the choice of your rice or roti!!
